Ottawa Transportation

HOTEL

We have made a group reservation at the Fairmont Château Laurier, check-in Saturday June 25th, check-out Wednesday 29th in the morning. Four nights are included in your conference fees.
If you are planning to arrive in Ottawa earlier than the 25th or to leave later than the 29th, we strongly advise to book extra hotel nights by yourself. Extra nights at the hotel will be at your own expense, but preferential rates have graciously been extended by the hotel.

Conference fees include: bed, breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks during the meals, coffee breaks, and of course the meeting itself. Unless specified otherwise by the organizers during the meeting, other items are at your own expenses and must be settled with the venue upon checkout.

AIR AND TRANSPORTATION

Airport Shuttle: Ottawa International Airport is located approximately 10 miles (15 km) from the hotel. The Airport Shuttle is available from the front doors of the airport or the hotel. Reservations are needed for Hotel (not airport) pick-up (613-260-2359). Rates & Schedule: $15 one way, $25 round trip / $12 per person for 2 people / $9 per person for 3 people or more. Everyday at 7 minutes past the hour, from 6:07 a.m. to 11:07 p.m. YOW Aiporter website at: www.yowshuttle.com.

Taxis are available at the airport and at the entrance of the hotel. Rate to airport: approximately $25 one way.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

A valid passport is required for travel in and out of Canada for residents of all countries, including the United States if travelling by air. Resident of some countries may also require a visa. Of course, feel free to contact the organizers with any questions. We are certainly happy to provide invitation letters if needed.
